Why we exist

Most business journalism is written for investors and executives. Most advice about earning on your own is written to sell you something. Between the two stands the reader we serve: the founder of one, the professional with a business on the side, the household building a second income.

Modern Enterprise Report exists for that reader. We report on how modern enterprises start, grow and earn. We read the government data so you do not have to, and we say plainly what the numbers do and do not promise.

What we cover

  • Entrepreneurship. Who is starting businesses, in what, and why the numbers keep climbing.
  • Small business. The solo economy and the small firms behind most of American enterprise.
  • AI in business. What the tools truly change for owners, measured rather than hyped.
  • Earning from home. Real ways to add income, and the red flags that set the rest apart.

How we make money

The Report is free to read, and we will never ask you for a card. We are paid by partner companies whose offers and opportunities appear on this site and in our messages. That arrangement never changes what you pay, which is nothing. If a partner charges for its own product, that partner shows its costs before you commit to anything.

Our standards

  • No income promises. Results depend on the opportunity, the market and the effort you put in, and every business carries real risk.
  • Not investment advice. We report and explain. Decisions about your money belong with you and a qualified professional.
  • A featured offer is not an endorsement. Read a company's terms and ask what it really costs before saying yes.
  • Sources shown. Every story lists what it draws on, so you can check our work.

Your information

We do not sell or share your text message opt-in with anyone for their own marketing. You can stop our texts at any time by replying STOP, and stop our emails with the unsubscribe link in any message. The full details are in our Privacy Policy.
